5 INSTA-WORTHY CAFES IN SYDNEY

March 14, 2018

It seems like every cafe is scrambling not only to create delicious food but one that is also a feast for the eyes. Social media is becoming the queen of marketing for restaurants where more and more dishes are plated for the gram. Here are 5 super aesthetic cafes that’ll satisfy your brunch appetite while making everyone jealous on Instagram.

PREACH CAFE, BONDI BEACH

Sure there are plenty of cafes in Bondi Beach but this one features an epic brunch platter on a wooden chopping board filled with breaky goodies. Situated on the main road at Bondi Beach (Campbell Parade), they've got an Insta-worthy menu such as a vegan pancake stack and an OTT avocado-bun burger. You could always get it to go, walk to the beach and get a shot of Bondi in the background.

BREAD & CIRCUS, ALEXANDRIA

If you're a sucker for pastels, then this is a must visit for the gram. This cafe serves  fresh salads that you can mix and match from their menu as well as all the usual breakfast culprits like avo on toast, scrambled eggs and a range of sides. The aesthetic part is their sweet presentation on pastel pink plates and cups.

CELCIUS COFFEE CO, KIRRIBILLI

Don’t belittle this miniature shed by the water because it makes for some pretty shots of their colourful dishes with the water as a flatlay backdrop. Located on Kirribilli Wharf, this café is always bustling with people eager to get a waterside seat to snap the best Insta pic. Aesthetic dishes to order are the Celcius waffles and the Super Greens Breakfast because who doesn't enjoy brunch by the water.

POST CAFE, MARRICKVILLE

Aside from their extensive breakfast and lunch menu, there is one particular dish that looks (almost) too good to eat. If you're up for devouring a garden and impressing your Insta followers, order their signature dessert dish 'The Edible Garden'. Their chefs have such a green thumb that even the avo on toast or 'Persian Pumpkin' is plated like it's blossoming in your backyard.

OH! MATCHA, SYDNEY CBD

An Insta cafe post isn't complete without a mention of a dessert space. Matcha is all the rage right now and this green goodness seems to be on every sweet tooth's Insta. This cafe takes matcha soft serves to the next level with a metallic coat of gold or silver (edible of course) - a chic edition to a fashion blogger's feed.
